Our 2021 Holiday Wishes show will be filled with
holiday cheer, good vibes, friendship & dance!

10:00AM: Troupe Pre-Show Performance

1:00PM Show

5:30PM Show

Where:
Bellamy Middle School, Chicopee, MA

This event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of MA + RI and One Ohana, Inc.,
and will raise money towards granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical illnesses and to support dance education in western MA.

All classes will be participating and will learn a fun routine during their weekly classes to perform at the show on December 11th. Participation is NOT mandatory. It is an informal, celebratory event to kick off our year of dance! Students will be asked to wear holiday-esque attire that they already have at home.

This charity dance concert aims to achieve 3 very important goals:

  1. To spread peace, joy, love & positivity to our community through performance

Raffle Prizes

We will be accepting (and appreciative!) of raffle prize donations for the show! Please email us or message us that you will be able to donate and what the prize will be. Please bring to the item to Ohana before December 11th or with you to the 1PM show on December 11th. (The raffle will extend through BOTH shows!) Email info@ohanaperformingarts.com or send us a message on social media.

Volunteers!

Our volunteers are the BEST! We will need volunteers to help at the door, handing out programs, lining up dancers backstage, among other duties! If you would be willing to offer your time & energy, please email info@ohanaperformingarts.com. We are so grateful for you!. Thank you for helping to make Holiday Wishes a SUCCESS to benefit Make-A-Wish & One Ohana!

SAFETY PLAN AS OF 11/16/2021

In an effort to keep health and safety top priority, especially during the holiday season, we are asking all audience members to wear a mask while in the building. Dancers are allowed to remove their mask for the duration of their performance on stage (maximum of 2 minutes), but can certainly wear a mask on stage if you/they would like to. Seating will not be assigned. If you have any questions, please contact us at info@ohanaperformingarts.com

"My dancer is YOUNG. How does she get backstage? Is anyone watching the dancers?"

All dancers can sit in the audience with their families. An Ohana staff member will announce what routines are due to line up backstage over the microphone. Families should gather their dancer and bring them backstage. We will have volunteers watching the children when they are backstage, lining up to perform so you can go back to the audience. Once your dancer is finished performing, please go backstage to pick your child up and bring them to the audience once again! The backstage changing area (the cafeteria where one can change/leave performance items) will NOT be supervised. If your child would like to stay back there during the show, a family member MUST be watching them!

"Do I need a ticket for my ____ year old?"

If you have a small child that is able to sit in your lap through the ENTIRE performance, they may do so! This is up to the discretion of our door volunteers. If a child is sitting in a seat without a wristband, they will be asked to sit on a lap OR to purchase a ticket!

"Do I need to buy a ticket for both performances?"

If you would like to watch both performances, then YES, you will need to purchase a ticket for both. However, you are welcome to sit in the cafeteria with your dancer if you do not purchase a ticket.

"I bought a ticket... but now I don't need it! Can I sell it back to Ohana?”

All tickets are FINAL SALE! Because this is a charity performance, we are unable to refund tickets.

Costumes!

Clothing items will likely be things your dancer already has in their closet! Our instructors aimed to choose something that everyone has in their closet already. Needing to purchase something new? Check consignment shops, Good Will / Savers / Salvation Army & Amazon.com for good deals on items!

Wondering what your dancer needs? Check here!

TICKETS ARE ON SALE: ONLINE ONLY!

All tickets are $15 each and payment is ONLINE only with a card! They are available 24/7, any time of the day or night directly on our website. We are unable to sell tickets in person as all people must have their tickets either printed or on their phone to be scanned at entry. However, if you are having trouble finding the link, you can stop by our front desk and we can help you with purchasing tickets on your phone or tablet!

All seats are general admission!

There is no assigned seating at these shows, so please be prepared to wait in line prior to showtime! But this also means you can purchase as many tickets as you need throughout the next few weeks without complications.

If you have ANY questions, we are happy to help! Please email info@ohanaperformingarts.com

We can’t wait to see each and every dancer shine on stage and celebrate the magic of the season with our Ohana family!
